Break-ups

Going through a break up is really hard; it will continue to hurt even if the break up was quite a while ago as many people like to dwell on the idea of “what could have been.” From personal experience, I know that girls like to get over a break up by dressing slutty, going to a club, do something horrible and cry about it the next day. That’s just the wrong way to approach it and it wont be doing you any good. Instead, reflecting back on why the relationship ended is a better idea as it helps us to understand what went wrong; maybe it was an abusive relationship or either of you cheated or you just weren’t compatible enough etc.

It ended for a reason and that’s exactly why moving on is what will help you get over the break up. Turning to your family and friends will help; getting a make over and refreshing yourself will allow you to think of a new beginning and it will make you feel a lot better about yourself. Something people tend to have while they’re in a relationship is a routine; this significant other will take up a lot of your time during the day so now’s the time to gain all that wasted time back! Go to the gym or take up a new hobby or just relax and devote time to yourself.

Cry if you feel the need to, believe it or not crying will make you feel so sleepy and tired that you’ll just forget about everything and desire to be re-united with your bed. Trust.
